Fill up on fresh veggies
The fiber in raw fruits and vegetables will help move toxins out of your body. Click here for our favorite detox recipe: Spring wraps with zesty ginger-peanut sauce.
Limit alcohol and caffeine
Although alcohol and caffeine are safe in moderation, we recommend substituting the antioxidant-rich African Sunrise™ Rooibos Tea whenever possible. It has more antioxidants than green tea and contains no additives, caffeine, preservatives, or artificial coloring. Try rooibos tea over ice with a citrus twist or serve it warm with a splash of dairy-free milk.
Drink plenty of water
Drink at least six (or more) 10 oz. glasses of water with lemon each day. Or try one of these delicious fruit-infused water recipes.
Eat probiotic-rich foods
Probiotics help detox your intestines and reduce inflammation. Adding these probiotic-rich foods to your diet every day will help support healthy intestinal flora. Try this probiotic yogurt parfait recipe on a warm spring or summer day.
