Homemade dog biscuit recipe:
Ingredients:
½ cup cooled Rooibos tea
1 ½ cup chickpea or coconut flour
½ cup ground flax or chia seeds
½ cup pure organic pureed pumpkin or squash
2 tablespoons finely chopped dry organic cranberries or blueberries
2 tablespoons organic coconut oil
Instructions:
Mix the Rooibos tea, squash, fruit, and coconut oil in a bowl. Add dry ingredients, blending well. Drop dough by teaspoon onto a baking sheet or press dough into a treat mold. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Allow to cool before giving to your dog. You can store the rest in a container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
